QOTD: Harvey Weinstein on Grindhouse

When it opened, 85% of people who didn’t go said it was because they didn’t have three and a half hours to spend. People aren’t used to double bills. Of course, when I grew up you’d go to the movies, watch the first film, the second film, and the first film again. But people have Internet-y things to do today.

Film producer Harvey Weinstein blames Grindhouse‘s box-office failure on the Internet.

I won;t watch your video footage because of the annoying pre-roll.

Today I went to “My Yahoo” and clicked “Inbox” to read my mail. A two inch column on the right side of the screen is now taken up by an advertisement! I emailed a complaint, and used their tech support chat system to complain. If this were a FREE email account I would just accept it, but to lose two inches of screen space to an add when I am paying ATT DSL/Yahoo for my email account is unacceptable. I’m going to shop for a new provider.
