Pirates of Silicon Valley, Redux

With the fifth edition of D: All Things Digital kicking off today in Carlsbad, Calif., expect the Intertubes to be flooded with tech news the next few days. We’ll be seeing some big announcements from Palm and RealNetworks, the debut of Mahalo, unscripted conversations with a host of tech luminaries and, of course, a few surprises. Plus a rare joint appearance by Apple CEO Steve Jobs and Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates.
