The iPhone, John Finds, Has Conquered the Monsters of European Telecom

Given the interest (some might call it obsession) we here at AllThingsD.com have shown for Apple’s iPhone (which Walt Mossberg and Katherine Boehret reviewed here, and whose accessories Walt examines in this week’s Personal Technology column), it’s only natural that Digital Daily’s John Paczkowski (right) would anticipate the debut of the device across the pond in Europe, where a number of carriers are reportedly in line to get distribution rights. But not Vodafone, which John posits may not have signed on because of the AT&T-style arrangement that is rumored to cut Apple in on monthly subscription revenue.
