Block was getting ready to throw a party for attendees of the E3 games conference in Santa Monica, Calif., so we decided to have a little video chat about the iPhone–Engadget’s bread and butter of late, including such posts as an imagined mock-up for a cheaper next-generation Apple device pictured here–and also WAP and other trends.

But, of course, we asked about life at AOL. Sorry, Ryan!
