Alcatel-Lucent: Report Former COO Quigley to Be CEO

Moving quickly to find a replacement for recently departed CEO Pat Russo, the nominating committee at Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) plans to propose former COO Mike Quigley as the company’s new chief executive, according to the French weekly Canard Enchaine, Reuters reports.

Quigley, who had once been considered a likely successor to former chairman Serge Tchuruk, had left the company in 2007 for personal reasons.
