    I think Microsoft are responsible for their own public image, and it’s a bit too late to try to change it now. I don’t think it’s ‘mockery’ on Apple’s part, I think they were pointing out what we all knew, which makes Apple’s ads extremely funny. The Microsoft ads are just stupid.

    Funny you didn’t call Microsoft’s earlier campaign ‘mockery’ when they depicted Office users as dinosaurs.

While it’s tempting to see the Huffington Post’s Pulitzer as a “big win for new media,” or something like that, the real story is that these organizations — the Huffington Post, the New York Times, the Washington Post — are becoming more like each other. Old media and new media are increasingly antiquated terms.
