We have a broader vision than just selling MP3 players, we are thinking about more connected entertainment experiences driven by the Zune software and services for not only Zune device owners but other ‘tuners’ as well. Yeah,

The WebTV if digital music wants to give us a better user experience than we already have.

Microsoft finally figures out a software (not hardware) company can’t beat a hardware company at its own game. Forget WebTV and WIFI base stations and all the other failed hardware projects that never took off at Microsoft. “We’re gonna get it right this time. Promise. We’ll innovate our way out of this malaise.” (i.e. The current $100 million loss on the Zune).

    Indeed.
