Windows 7 Upgrade Deal Nears

There’s more evidence Microsoft (MSFT) is about to offer people who buy PCs over the next few months a free upgrade to Windows 7, the forthcoming version of the company’s operating system. Computerworld has discovered a Web site registered to Microsoft called Windows7UpgradeOption.com.

The barebones Web site says simply: “Thank you for your interest. Please return to this site on June 26, 2009.”
