Viral Video: The "I'm Yours" Ukulele Boy

ukulele41

Okay, this kid with his ukulele and his mangling of the lyrics of Jason Mraz’s too-cute hit song, “I’m Yours,” is simply better than the original.

It is also an Internet sensation.

So far, the five-year-old from Japan, dubbed “Ukulele Boy,” who clearly does not speak English, has garnered close to 4.6 million hits on one page on YouTube.

When Mraz sings this cloying ditty that is a bad version of Jack Johnson, my ears bleed. When the kid does it, it’s perfection (mostly because you can’t hear the goofy words).

But please compare and contrast for yourself:

Your ears bleed? Really? Do you need to be that mean about a bouncy little song about… something…? It's that hard to listen to?

the uke kid is actually annoying… another 5 year old put up to fame by his glory-seeking parents

I love that little uke guy! I did some research and I think he's five years old and has only been playing ukulele for a year. He also speaks Japanese, which explains his treatment of the lyrics.
