A Glucose Meter For the Modern World

In his most recent appearance on FOX Business News, Walt talks about the Contour USB from Bayer, a new glucose meter for diabetics, but one with a modern touch. The tech-savvy Contour also serves as a USB drive, making it easier to track the user’s stats digitally [corrected from an earlier version of this post, which stated that the device automatically uploaded stats]. Bayer’s foray into the wired realm signals a broader move by the health industry to integrate better with the world of consumer electronics.

Walt’s full review of the device can be found here.

A fair review highlighting both the benefits and disadvantages. I see them as teething troubles. Bayer can arrive at a plausible solution by initiating work in collaboration with all PC/Manufacturers and software developers and work out a solution. I am sure taking a professional cue of the scope and the trend, software developers will readily participate in rectification of the deficiencies you have pointed out. Like telemedicine, tele consultation with online results will prove to be popular and time saving. I am further sure there will be proactive initiative from all concerned.

This can be really helpful. But i don't think it will be cheap.

Just want to share my experience on this site.

I am working for a company which pays me well, has good working conditions and good people to work with. But it has been long and I feel that I need a change as I feel I have reached that point where I will only grow if I join another company, change my ways of working, thinking. But I do not have time. So how do I look up for jobs? The answer is go online and log into http://www.ExecCrossing.com. I applied through their website and few days passed by and there I have a job in hand.

ExecCrossing.com is A well updated, quality conscious website which does not add job postings of any and every company. Unless they find the companies worthy they do not put up their opening. If you are unemployed and are dying to find a job in cio jobs, executive job marketing, chicago executive search, ceo job or executive jobs then the right place to visit is http://www.ExecCrossing.com. It is the best job searching website as it is associated with high profile companies to companies which have a decent run. This gives you the chance to choose the kind of company you want to work with according to your educational level, your years of experience and depending on how good you are at your work.

Finding a job is no longer a task ever since I have joined http://www.ExecCrossing.com. They never have a drought in the number of openings and that makes any employee happy.

The device, sadly, will not install on Windows 7 64-bit machines.

Knowledge for my generation was at the center of the human quest. It is going the way of the recording industry. It is a term that won’t survive the generation.
