Blast From the D Past: Apple’s Steve Jobs at D2 in 2004

Apple CEO Steve Jobs is making another appearance onstage at the eighth D: All Things Digital conference on June 1.

Until then, every week I am posting one of the previous interviews he did at past D events.

Here’s the video, below, of the full interview from D2 in 2004. And pictured above: Jobs during the interview.

Last week, I posted the video of Jobs’s first appearance, at D1 in 2003.

The rest, coming soon, include: D3 in 2005 and a solo interview at D5, along with Jobs’s joint D5interview with Microsoft (MSFT) head Bill Gates, in 2007.

While the D5 videos were posted on the All Things Digital site in full, the others have not been easy to access.

One caveat: The source material of the earlier interviews is of varying quality, so audio synch is a little iffy.

So, without further ado, until the Apple (AAPL) leader holds forth again, here is the D2 video (and check out the gallery of the whole event here):

With the volume maxed on my MacBook Pro and in the video app itself, it's still almost impossible to hear the audio.

Hi agree that piracy its a bad thing, its like having a lot of advertisement to take for free something that is for buy, the problem is that there is no legislation for some softwares and links with instructions like we saw in Youtube, that actually many persons saw & see inevitably makes available.
There are serves that provide many illegal softwares packages, for years and they just don't know how to locate them. That is the cause of problem that is generalized by the mass communication that is the Web.
I personally erase everything illegal that I took from the Internet,in fact there are many persons than thing its some kind of a normal thing to take illegal because know they can choose, the legacy of the web must be review starting in the servers and offenders.

As long as the newspaper was a bundle, no one ever had to care that people were buying it for radically different reasons. But once you go online, and people can unbundle things, where you can traffic directly to a story without going through the home page or any of the rest of it, suddenly what it — the individual choices made by individual readers come to matter a lot.
