Facebook to Open Office in India
Facebook will soon open its first outpost in Asia. On Sunday, India’s Union Government approved the social networking site’s plan to open a 50,000-sq. ft. office in the Raheja Mindspace zone of Hyderabad in September. Facebook is investing $150 million in its operations there and plans to hire 500 employees in the region.
