Sports Illustrated, Turner to Challenge ESPN With Partnership
Look out, ESPN: Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting are coming for you. This morning the two announced a new partnership that will align Sports Illustrated’s digital offerings with those of the cable network’s Turner Sports unit. Under the terms of the agreement, Turner Sports will handle ad sales and operations for the combined portfolio of 21 sites, and it will work with Time Warner to develop new mobile products and applications.
