Apple Snips Needling Threads From iPhone 4 Forums

Yet another twist in the iPhone 4 antenna saga: Apple’s Support forum moderators have deleted some–but not all–threads discussing Consumer Reports’ refusal to recommend the device.

As public relations moves go, “moderation into oblivion” is a poor strategy. Though the deleted threads are no longer viewable on Apple.com, you can still find them in Bing’s cache. As a wise man once said, “You can’t take something off the Internet…that’s like trying to take pee out of a swimming pool.”
