Here’s Walt Mossberg’s interview with eBay (EBAY) CEO John Donahoe, about the situation at the iconic Silicon Valley e-commerce giant.

While the clear leader in the online auction space, eBay had seen growth stall amid increased competition from formidable rivals like Amazon (AMZN) and others. Donahoe has been trying to reinvigorate the company, an effort that has had its ups and downs.

That includes positives such as PayPal and negatives such Skype. Also discussed: Mobile shopping.
