Evidently Apple (AAPL) didn’t pay much heed to Louis Sullivan’s design principle when developing the iPhone 4, because, according to a Bloomberg source, the company knew that the device’s antenna design might be problematic. A person familiar with the matter told the news service that Apple’s own antenna expert warned the company that the design could cause reception problems and generally presented a serious engineering challenge.

That press conference Apple is holding tomorrow morning is going to be very, very interesting.
