Social news-sharing site Digg unveiled its long-awaited redesign to the general viewing public today–at least to those who could shoulder their way through the crowds of the curious and successfully connect to Digg’s overloaded servers. Founder Kevin Rose says the changes represent a wholesale revision of the platform, designed to enhance speed, personalization and the ability to connect and share with friends.
Along with original content and posts from across the Dow Jones network, this section of AllThingsD includes Must-Reads From Other Web Sites — pieces we’ve read, discussions we’ve followed, stuff we like. Six posts from external sites are included here each weekday, but we only run the headlines. We link to the original sites for the rest.
