What does the population of China have in common with Target shoppers (other than a well-forged supply chain)? Both groups are hearing reports today of the imminent arrival of Apple’s iPad. The China launch of the Wi-Fi version is official–set by Apple for 10 am Friday. The report that the tablet will show up on Target shelves on Oct. 3 is speculation based on a few insider clues that were quietly slipped under Engadget’s door.
