Walt Mossberg – Apps Raise the iPad’s Aptitude for Real Work
Verizon has officially entered the apps market. Its store, called V CAST Apps, exists for now as a tab within the Android Market, but reportedly will soon morph into a separate entity that will compete with the Android Market. One notable difference between the two stores–V CAST Apps will be a much more curated affair, requiring a detailed approval process for each app.
