Okay, Okay. Maybe the iPad Is Magical, After All….

You’re not going to use Apple’s (AAPL)  tablet to create trippy stop-motion animation videos. But, as this clip from London ad agency Dentsu shows us, you could. If you wanted to.

Many years ago, while sitting at the bar of one of my favorite watering holes in Chicago, a group of conventioneers came staggering in to the place. This was obviously not the first place they had visited and were on a roll. The group surrounded me in an effort to get a drink at the bar and after being served, included me in their conversation. The group was made up of software programmers, hardware guys, and I don’t know the titles of the rest of them. One rather attractive, and well endowed lady leaned into me and started telling me all the things she could do with a computer. I was fascinated. Maybe not so much by what she could make a computer do, but by her confidence in what she could do with a computer. This article says the same thing. These people can use an iPad to make sophisticated video, that’s exciting, but why would you want to? Someone like me, who uses a computer to make my life a little easier, certainly isn’t going to be able to do what these guys have accomplished on a glorified ereader.
