EA Delays Hotly Anticipated Basketball Videogame

Videogame publisher Electronics Arts (ERTS) is delaying a highly anticipated basketball title on concerns about the game’s quality.

On a company blog, EA Sports President Peter Moore said the publisher made the decision to delay “NBA Elite,” which was slated to hit stores next week, because of the company’s conclusion that the game “would benefit from more time in development.” No expected launch date was given.

“We are going to keep working until we’re certain we can deliver a breakthrough basketball experience,” Moore wrote on the blog.
