SCVNGR, hunting for ways to keep pace in the competitive social location space, today turned loose freshly revamped versions of its iPhone and Android apps. SCVNGR stands out from the crowd by going beyond simple check-ins and emphasizing the game aspect by posing real-world challenges for users to complete. The new apps deliver a slicker dashboard, more real-world rewards for challenges, improved commenting and a mapping tool to find your friends.
