Apple Relocates Motorola War on Midwestern Front

Apple quietly escalated its IP battle with Motorola this week, parrying a motion for declaratory judgment that threatened to prevent it from using 12 patents contested in an infringement case playing out in Delaware. In a court filing Wednesday, Apple amended one of its other complaints against Motorola, this one filed in Wisconsin, to include those 12 patents and asked that the Delaware case be dismissed or transferred to Wisconsin.
