Samsung’s Galaxy Tab: 1 Million Sold

How’s Samsung’s Galaxy Tab faring in the market dominated by Apple’s iPad? Evidently, pretty well. The company has sold one million of them globally to date, a milestone passed just two months after the device debuted. Not bad for a tablet with a seven-inch screen–a screen three inches short of the 10-inch screen size that Apple CEO Steve Jobs insists is the minimum size required to create great tablet apps. That said, Apple did sell two million iPads in its first two months and analysts estimate that the company will end the year having sold some eight million of them.
