Amazon Launches Daily Deals App, But It's Not What You Think

Amazon.com has released Amazon Deals, a free iPhone application that offers daily deals–but not the kind you may be used to. The app draws from its so-called Gold Box deals, and offers a new product, like a portable speaker system for your iPod, at a heavily discounted price.
