Salesforce Taps IBM Veteran to Head Enterprise Sales
Salesforce.com has a new senior vice president in charge of enterprise sales in the Americas today. The company said it has hired Jeff Lautenbach, a former IBMer with 20 years of experience at Big Blue.
Lautenbach’s last job was running IBM’s 1,000-person enterprise software sales team in the Western U.S. He’ll report to Hilarie Koplow-McAdams, EVP of sales at Salesforce.
Lautenbach is the second new SVP at Salesforce in as many months. On Jaunuary 18 it named Matt Miszewski, the former general manager of Worldwide Government at Microsoft, to run Salesforce’s own government sales operation.
