According to a White House official, other attendees include Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz, Cisco CEO John Chambers, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, Stanford president John Hennessy, chairman and former CEO of Genentech Art Levinson, and Westley Group’s managing partner and founder Steve Westly. Oddly absent: HP CEO Léo Apotheker. Perhaps, Ellison’s attendance canceled his out….

Let’s hope the outcome results in actual action vs. more of Obama’s community organizing. I am tired of speeches, meetings, committees, blue ribbon panels, consultants, lobbyists, press conferences, blah, blah, blah … in other words, HOT AIR. We need real and immediate action, common sense measures to resolve the top issues now, primary of which is reducing the size of the federal government, getting the federal government out of the way, providing meaningful incentives to businesses of all sizes to hire, innovate and build for the future.
