A Theme Song for the Cloud Age? (Video)

With all this talk of clouds these days, it seems to me that the age of cloud computing needs a theme song of some kind. Feel free to make your own suggestions in the comments below. But I’ll start by suggesting “From The Clouds,” a cheerful new ditty from Jack Johnson, if only because the video he shot for it is so incredibly cool to watch.

For the video, Johnson had initially planned to be filmed lip-syncing while skydiving. Instead he and Emmett Malloy found a 40-foot diving board in Mission Viejo, Calif., and filmed Johnson leaping, doing somersaults and otherwise plummeting through the air at 6,500 frames per second to create extra-super-slo-mo. He jumped off the board 50 times to get all the footage. You can see a bigger version of the video here. Don’t forget to make your own cloudy song suggestions below.
