DailyBooth Raises $6M for Self-Portraits
DailyBooth, the photo-sharing site popular with young folks, has raised $6 million in a round led by Ignition Partners and including Sequoia Capital. The service counts 14 million photos shared, much of them self-portraits. One way DailyBooth is different from other photo-sharing apps is its users tend to use front-facing cameras when available (the better to frame and capture themselves with), as they will be on the forthcoming iPad 2.
