Viral Video: Forget 2012, Try 5/21/11

The Internet is host to a lot of things, including a persistent number of people using it to predict the end of the world.

And so it is again, with a spate of videos popping up online of late, all focused around May 21, 2011 as the day of the “rapture” and the beginning of the end of the world on October 21, 2011.

The last time there was this much of a frenzy on the topic, it was over Y2K, which turned out to be a bust in terms of booms.

What is there to say, except that the Web is there as a voice for all, even those whose messages are dire ones.
