Zynga Hires Six Employees Through Boston-Area Acquisition

Zynga has announced its 10th acquisition in 10 months. The San Francisco social game company is hiring all six employees from Floodgate Entertainment but is not technically acquiring the Waltham, Mass.-based company. The employees, who will work from Zynga’s Boston office, worked on a wide variety of PC and mobile games. Floodgate founder Paul Neurath is becoming Zynga Boston’s Creative Director. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
