What About Oakland Coliseum For WWDC 2012?
Ten hours. That’s all it took for this year’s Apple Worldwide Developers Conference to sell out.
Tickets went on sale at 8:30 AM ET Monday and by 6:30 PM there were none left. In 2010, the conference (which hosts about 5,200 attendees) sold out in eight days, so this is a significant spike in demand and a good indicator of just how high developer interest in iOS and Mac OS is running these days. Already, tickets are being scalped on eBay, some for nearly double their face value.
