Local Offer Network's Funding is the Deal of the Day

It seems not a day–much less a week–goes by without another daily deals company getting funded. Now it’s Local Offer Network’s turn. The Chicago-based company has raised $1.5 million in funding, led by investors IllinoisVentures and the Matthew Pritzker Company. It aggregates nationwide offers from other providers at dealradar.com, along with developing technology and services for third-parties. The capital will be spent on general corporate purposes, like hiring business development and product enhancements.
