Kiva.org Doles Out Micro Loans that are the Color of Money

Kiva.org, a micro-lending site that connects lenders with borrowers around the world, is announcing a new loan category called Kiva Green Loans (and it’s not called that after the color of money). The new loans are for businesses that include such things as recycling or the switching to organic fertilizer. As with most micro-loans, the amounts can be as small as $25.
