No Joke: Pandora Adds Comedy

Internet radio service Pandora has added 10,000 short sketches from more than 700 different comics to its library. Even though the best way to ruin a joke is to explain it, Pandora enlisted a “team of working comedians” to identify traits such as “basic themes (ethnicity, family) and styles of delivery (dry, self-deprecating) to broader categorizations of how comedians toy with logic and language (spoonerisms, juxtaposition, misdirection)” so it can make comedy recommendations.
