Early this morning, Apple’s App Store crossed the half-million approved apps mark, according to Chomp, 148Apps and chillingo, which track such metrics. Quite an achievement for a first-of-its-kind store not yet three years old–even if only about 400,000 of those approved apps are currently available for download. If you were to purchase every single one of them, you’d be looking at an iTunes bill of about $891,982.24.
