Dick Costolo just spent 45 minutes on stage at D9 talking about the power of Twitter. But I think Shaquille O’Neal just made a better argument for Twitter’s power in just two words.

“im retiring,” the NBA star tweeted Wednesday, linking to a video.

Most recently with the Celtics, Shaq spent nearly two decades in the pros as a center for the Lakers, Cavaliers and Suns, after starting his career with the Orlando Magic.
