LivingSocial Worth $3.6B, Yelp $561M, According to SharesPost

We don’t usually post secondary market valuations, because they are endlessly changing and based on minimal trades. But today, SharesPost posted research reports and valuations on four private companies, which makes the comparisons a bit more interesting.

The neXtup research (free with SharesPost registration) values LivingSocial at $3.6 billion to $4.1 billion, Facebook at $52.7 billion, Yelp at $561 million and RockYou at $264.7 million.

But one more caveat: Of those four companies, only Facebook has been actively traded on SharesPost since the beginning of this year, according to SecondPost’s record of transactions.
