Spotify is Coming to the U.S. Soon! Just You Wait.

Spotify’s plans to to land in the U.S. aren’t news, but the European music streaming service does appear to be getting closer to a stateside launch. It has launched a U.S. homepage, where it is signing up people to receive invites. The announcement says “Spotify is coming to the U.S.” soon. “Millions of tracks ready to play on your computer or phone … and it’s free!” No details on timing or price, but that “free” line won’t really be true. Users will get a limited amount of free, ad-supported music on their PCs, and will be asked to pay about $10 a month for mobile, ad-free access.
