HTC’s Innovation Chief Opts for Something New
Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC confirmed Monday that its chief innovation officer, Horace Luke, has left the company “for personal reasons.”
“Horace nurtured a culture of innovation at HTC and instilled a strong consumer design-focus among our employees who continue to raise the bar in designing products that capture our customers’ imagination,” the company said in a statement. HTC said Luke’s responsibilities will be handled by Scott Croyle, vice president of design.
Luke’s departure was reported earlier Monday by Boy Genius Report.
