Hulu Tech Team to Launch Social Start-Up Erly With Backing From Kleiner Perkins
Kleiner Perkins partner Eric Feng, who became a VC just a year ago, is off to start a new social technology start-up called Erly with backing from KP partners John Doerr and Chi-Hua Chien.
Feng, who was the founding CTO of Hulu, co-founded Erly with two former Hulu coworkers: former Hulu Head of Product Eugene Wei and Head of Engineering Andrew Lin.
Erly isn’t saying much about what it’s doing yet — “Your life, simply interesting” is the tagline — but it already has eight team members and offices in Palo Alto, Calif., and New York City.
