Facebook and Google: Dueling Game Announcements Tonight

Facebook and Google both have announcements coming later this afternoon, according to emails sent to All Things D within five minutes of each other.

Facebook says it will be releasing a series of updates at a game developers event tonight.

Google is being way more cryptic, saying that we should keep an eye on the Official Google Blog this afternoon for announcements. According to our sources, Google will be unveiling its plans for a game network of some sort, likely related to Google+.
