Was expecting it to have a lot more doctor’s appointments on it, TBH. So possibly in bad taste.

Taste varies according to culture… I don’t find it offensive, but I’m not American.

There’s really no need to be outraged over a rather modest bit of humor. It’s not propaganda and does not make fun of his illness in any way. It’s actually rather complimentary of his work ethic and attention to detail and the amount that he cares about the well-being of his company.

I can’t believe how uptight some people are, maybe its the economy! Its humor, meaning not to be taken seariously. I’m sure Steve reads this stuff and giggles to himself.

He’s a public figure and has crafted his image very carefully. I agree that details of his private life should remain as private as he wishes them to be, which is why I’m glad to see no oncologist visits or chemo couch sessions on this imaginary schedule. A comedy piece based on his public persona is perfectly fine. As inm said above, it’s a tongue-in-cheek homage to his work ethic and sense of responsibility to Apple. I live in Silicon Valley and it’s certainly funny here.

I was reading this and half way through, I was like no way this real, surely enough I looked up at the top of the page and saw it says comic. It is pretty funny though. Lol

Since this was written by Americans about an American in an American context, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the culture of the reader is not the primary determinant of whether he/she finds the post offensive. But thanks for your gratuitous, condescending bash couched as sensitivity.
