Dan Loeb: Yahoo Chairman Hung Up on Me

We know Yahoo Chairman Roy Bostock knows how to wield a telephone. After all, he fired Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz last week over the phone.

So in hedge-fund manager Daniel Loeb’s latest attack on the company, perhaps it’s not surprising that Bostock hung up on one of Yahoo’s biggest investors.

“Thank you for taking the time to speak with us by telephone on Monday,” Loeb wrote in a letter to Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang. “We are only sorry that we were not able to finish our conversation as a result of Mr. Bostock’s abrupt unilateral termination of the call.”
