Nuance’s Swype Bill: $102.5 Million

Nuance has spelled out its acquisition plans for Swype, the company that makes virtual keyboard software for Google’s Android handsets. Nuance will pay $102.5 million in cash for the start-up, with $77.5 million coming upfront and the rest paid out in 18 months.
