kgbdeals Expands Its Daily Deals Footprint by Acquiring New York’s TheDealist

kgb, a nearly 20-year-old company that expanded into daily deals last year with kgbdeals, has acquired TheDealist in its hometown of New York. The company, which is currently operating in 100 cities in the U.S. and Europe, is one of many providers that are scrambling to gain scale against market leader Groupon. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
