Box Unveils $2 Million App Development Fund
Following through on a plan that its CEO first mentioned during a visit to New York, Box.net today announced its Box Innovation Network — or “/bin” fund. The company announced a $2 million fund to encourage the development of applications on its platforms. Its partners in the effort include Appcelerator, Heroku, VMware Cloud Foundry, Rackspace, SnapLogic, and Twilio.
