Micron Technology Inc. said Steven R. Appleton, chairman and chief executive of the memory-chip maker, died on Friday in a small plane accident in Idaho. He was 51 years old.
The company released a statement saying: “Steve’s passion and energy left an indelible mark on Micron, the Idaho community and the technology industry at large.”
