Apple filed a lawsuit against Motorola Mobility on Friday, saying Apple’s iPhone 4S is protected under a license agreement from Qualcomm. The lawsuit, which was filed Friday in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, is the latest maneuver in a series of legal battles between smartphone makers that include litigation between Apple and Motorola in Germany.
