Breaking: Activist Shareholder Dan Loeb Starts Proxy Fight at Yahoo

Dan Loeb, the activist shareholder who owns a large stake in Yahoo, is filing today a slate of alternate directors in the beginning of what could be an ugly battle over the fate of the company.

The slate includes Loeb as well as media executive Michael Wolf. The move comes as talks over the sale of Yahoo’s Asian holdings have stalled. More to come.
